If you use FinancialJuice.com to stay on top of market news, you’ve probably relied on their voice channel for live updates. But sometimes, the stream cuts out or disconnects unexpectedly, forcing you to manually refresh or reconnect. It’s a small interruption, but one that can be frustrating—especially during volatile moments.

To solve that, I built a simple Google Chrome extension that automatically reconnects the voice channel when it drops.

What the Extension Does

This extension monitors the voice channel on FinancialJuice and automatically reconnects it if it disconnects. You don’t need to click anything or reload the page. It just quietly runs in the background and keeps you connected to the audio feed.

Why I Built It

As a frequent user of FinancialJuice, I noticed the voice channel would occasionally go silent without warning. I’d miss important market commentary unless I was actively watching the tab. I wanted a set-it-and-forget-it solution that would handle these interruptions automatically—and figured others might find it helpful too.

How to Use It

1. Download the extension from github.com/ibafin/FJAutoConnect
2. Add it to Chrome.
3. Open FinancialJuice.com in your browser.
4. That’s it. The extension takes care of the rest.

Privacy and Permissions

The extension only interacts with the FinancialJuice tab and doesn’t collect or transmit any personal data. It uses only the minimal permissions required to detect and restore the voice connection.
